Netflix has set a January 5th global premiere date (yes, this Friday) and released the trailer for its original eight-episode British darkly comic road trip series “The End of the F–king World”.

Made in conjunction with UK’s E4 and based on Charles Forsman’s award-winning graphic novels, Charlie Covell (“Burn Burn Burn”) is behind the adaptation which screened in the UK in October and is now going global.

The story follows teenagers James (Alex Lawther) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden). He’s a self-proclaimed psychopath, she is a foul-mouthed rebel fed-up with her boring life. Both embark on a road trip to find a better life and soon it becomes apparent they have crossed a line and have no choice but to take it as far as they can.
