Pontiac's comeback story, mostly the result of new development downtown, could find itself reaching the neighborhoods soon.

Property values are rising across the city. While different neighborhoods are rising at different rates, the overall values have been increasing since 2011, when the average price-per-square-foot in Pontiac was just $15.
