Gareth Southgate says it would be a ‘huge boost’ to have England supporters at the World Cup in Russia, amid political tensions between the two countries. Talking at England’s squad announcement on Thursday, Southgate says he is focused on football before the tournament and hopeful fans would be there to support the team on their World Cup journey.
