MiCommunity Bancorp announced that it has applied with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the State of Michigan, to charter a new community bank in Bloomfield Township. Farr is one of 13 organizers supporting the application for a new charter. The group has enlisted the assistance of Donnelly Penman & Partners and Schwartz & Co.
