Forty-five years ago Robin Trower released his first solo album, "Twice Removed From Yesterday," and he hasn't looked back since. With good reason.

Coming out of the ranks of Procol Harum, Trower forged a path rooted in rock and blues with, early on, a Hendrixian embrace of psychedelic pyrotechnics.
