A Poetry Slam is taking place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the Waterford Township Public Library, 5168 Civic Center Dr.

Poet Justin Rogers will lead this event. He will share poems about living as a black man in America. He most recently had his work published in Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Gramma Press and is the winner of Black Napkin Press' Inaugural Chapbook Contest.
