An explosion of a propane stove has claimed the life of an 81-year-old Groveland Township woman, who died one day after she was burned over approximately 85 percent of her body.

The victim, who lived in a 25-foot recreational vehicle behind a house in the 3000 block of Grange Hall Road, reportedly was unaware that she had left the stove on after cooking and then later went to relight the stove and caused the explosion, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
