Testimony wrapped up Friday and jury deliberations will begin Monday in the murder trial of William Juwuan Nelson, 20, charged with shooting two Pontiac residents last summer, one fatally.

Nelson is charged with one count each of open murder and assault with intent to murder for the shooting death of Marcus "Merk" Burkett, 23 of Pontiac, and wounding of Kyeire Cowart, 17 of Pontiac, at a house at 59 Thorpe Street in Pontiac last July 3 where several people had gathered to party.
