The city of Auburn Hills broke ground on a new amphitheater and splash pad planned for Riverside Park on Friday, May 11.

More than 10-years in the making, the $1.1 million project includes the construction of a 950 square-foot stage and dance floor, seating for 300 and lawn seating for 200, a play area and the splash pad.
