It's been a successful season so far for the University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team so far. They open play in the MAAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed against No. 3 see Monmouth on Thursday in West Long Branch, N.J.

The Titans are 8-6 (5-1 MAAC) while Monmouth is 7-7 (4-2 MAAC).

It's the fourth season for head coach Chris Kolon.
