The Detroit Institute of Arts goes on the road Saturday, July 7, to host a "Picturing Music" talk and images from the museum's permanent collection at 2 p.m. at the Royal Oak Public Library, 222 E. 11 Mile Road. Admission is free. Call 248-246-3727 or visit dia.org.
