Karen Bathanti's relatively short but significant stint as human resources director in Macomb County has come to an end with her hiring as vice chancellor at Oakland Community College.

Bathanti's last day as director of Macomb County Human Resources and Labor Relations was Monday, and she will start in her new OCC post next Monday.
