Howard Schultz: Former Starbucks CEO 'seriously considering' running for president as centrist independentThe former CEO of Starbucks has said he is considering running for the US presidency as a “centrist independent” in 2020. Howard Schultz, who has an estimated net worth of $3.3bn, stepped down as head of the coffee giant last year and is believed to be exploring his options. The 65-year-old had previously donated to Democratic campaigns, describing himself as a life-long supporter of the party, but has since criticised both the Democrats and the Repuublicans.
