Newcastle can feel that the job is almost done. Rafa Benítez’s side have risen six points above the bottom three after two consecutive victories and safety will be within reach if they win at the London Stadium. But while Newcastle have fond memories of this fixture last season, West Ham have improved under Manuel Pellegrini and were unfortunate to lose at Manchester City on Wednesday.
