Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been near-faultless as interim manager but Manchester United are still a point off fourth and sixth-placed Chelsea can leapfrog them by winning their game in hand. Southampton’s midweek win over Fulham was their only success in six league outings, so United really should take all three points – although the visitors have a good recent record at Old Trafford, losing just one in five visits. Marcus Rashford should be fit to start after the ankle injury that hampered the forward against Liverpool last Sunday. Jamie Jackson
