To celebrate the new year, filmmakers James Wan and Ron Howard have posted tweets teasing some of the production design in their upcoming films “Aquaman” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story” respectively.
Wan’s shot shows a close-up of Atlantean armor, emblazoned with a squid motif. There’s also a hook which some people have thought is a tease of Aquaman getting a hook hand like in a famed storyline in the comics. Wan responded to that talk with a simple: “No.”.
Happy New Year from the Deep! Here’s to a great 2018. http://pic.twitter.com/xh1GmJMGas

Howard’s photo shows the steering wheel of a vehicle within the film. The “Star Wars” spin-off centers around a young Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and tells the famous space pirate-slash-smuggler’s adventures before his time with the Rebellion.
Happy New Year from Team #Solo. We’re pretty pumped for 2018 http://pic.twitter.com/Gy3WkkGBiA
