The age at which you can collect full Social Security benefits creeps up a little bit every year. If you were born prior to 1955, you can begin collecting full benefits at age 66. But if you were born later, you'll have to wait a bit longer.
It's not necessarily a long wait. For example, if you were born in 1960, you'll be able to collect full benefits when you hit 67.
