A newly expanded Stars & Stripes Festival returns to the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi with Buckcherry, Lit and Alien Ant Farm among the bands taking the stage for the Fourth of July weekend.

Also, Mount Clemens-based Funfest Productions is back as the event's promoters.

Now in its 12th year, the event will run six days, June 28-July 4.
