A Sept. 20 trial date is set for three Pontiac residents charged in killing a man and woman over what's believed to be an attempted theft during a drug sale.

Austin Cooper, 22, Giovanni Mccaa, 17 and Jordan Garcia-Tinoco, 17, are charged with first-degree murder in the Jan. 13 shooting deaths of Cahla Richardson, 23, and Justin Flores, 34, at a home on Robinwood Street in Pontiac.
