Detectives in Sterling Heights believe the person found dead Monday in the Clinton River was not a victim of crime, a police spokesman said.

"No foul play is suspected as of right now," Lt. Mario Bastianelli said Tuesday afternoon following an autopsy of the individual.

Investigators have not confirmed the identity of the white male whose body was found in the water at approximately 1:30 p.
