As Macomb County residents sweated through the Fourth of July Wednesday, police were bracing for complaints later in the evening concerning holiday fireworks.

The National Weather Service has extended a heat advisory through 4 p.m. Thursday as temperatures are expected to again reach into the low 90-degree range.
